What Do "White Noise,"
"Mediums," and
"Touched By an Angel" Have in Common?

Have you noticed an increase in this type
of movie and television programs lately?: someone finds themselves being
contacted by "beings" "spirits" or coded messages in radio or television
waves—white noise. Or someone discovers they have the ability to "see"
things happening at a distance, in the past or in the future. Others
come back from a near-death experience with a message from a "being of
light".
In some cases, the individual has been
looking for the information (e.g., séances); in others, it is forced
upon them (e.g., "alien abduction").
More frightening, from a Christian point
of view, most of the messages or information received by one of these
methods is contrary to what God has taught us in the Bible!
How can you learn to discern the true
from the false? How can you decide if this is really a message from the
biblical God—or an attempt by the god of this world to deceive you?
